Here's one of those "Kids say the silliest things" posts.
We were in Wal-Mart yesterday, making a mad dash to get groceries for my daycare while Lizzie was in her dance class. I am an expert level procrastinator, and hadn't bought my groceries yet.
So, as we're on the aisle with butter, eggs, biscuits and all those wonderful breakfast items, I grab a bag of bagels, and turn to grab some cream cheese to go with them. Hannah-banana gets all excited. She knows what breakfast things those are. The conversation goes like this:
Hannah: Dad, look! Donut butter!!
Jeff: What???
After I finish laughing:
Me: Hannah, that is called cream cheese spread, and those are called bagels.
The creative side of my children will never cease to amaze me...or make me laugh :)
